THOM STARTED HIS CAREER AS A CHEF AGED 17
Thom’s Chef career in the same building as The Flintlock in 2003 at the age of 17, he trained at Buxton college and gained a routing in classical techniques.
In 2009 Thom leaves the industry through challenges with mental health and a desire to go and learn more about the world as well as his own self.
In April 2019 Thom starts a food blog page known as bboxfood reigniting a passion for cooking, works with many internationally recognised brands and amasses a large and loyal following.
Heading back to his roots… Thom decided to open the ‘THE FLINTLOCK’. It’s from here he creates all his recipes and videos.
