Joshua Moroney, Head Chef and Co-founder of Cue Point, brings a diverse culinary background rooted in his English and Guyanese heritage. Rising from a catering apprenticeship at 15, he honed his skills in various U.K. establishments, notably contributing to Smokestak and Shotgun BBQ. Fueled by a desire for inclusivity, representation, and self-worth in the culinary world, Josh co-founded Cue Point with Mursal Saiq, whom he met at Street Feast. Mursal, Director and Co-founder, has a compelling life story as a refugee from Kabul, finding her place in the diverse community of Hackney. Her journey from political history studies to Street Feast intertwines with Josh's, leading to the establishment of Cue Point—a testament to resilience and a commitment to challenging industry norms for a more inclusive culinary landscape.
