Barry Island Spirits Co is a small, family-run independent spirits business specialising in creating premium, small-batch spirits blended with the purest Welsh water gravitated from the Brecon Beacons. 

Owned by husband-and-wife team Tim and Claire Whalley, the focus for Barry Island Spirits Co is creating high quality, naturally great tasting spirits that are versatile enough to be sipped neat, put with a mixer or used in cocktails. The couple have taken inspiration for the recipes from the history and the natural environment around their home on the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan coastline.

With three Great Taste Awards and three Gin Guide awards across the range, this relatively new, small Welsh business has been making some big waves. Barry Island Welsh Dry Gin has been stocked by Heston Blumenthal’s Michelin Star restaurant, The Hinds Head in Bray and has been spotted in The Body Coach Joe Wick’s home bar, whilst Barry Island Rum was featured on ITV’s Love Your Weekend in October.

The Barry Island Spirits Co range consists of Barry Island Welsh Dry Gin, Barry Island Botanical Spiced Rum, Barry Island Organic Welsh Vodka and Barry Island Pink Dry Gin.
