All your questions answered below. If there’s anything we’ve missed please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I bring my children?
Of course! 6 – 15 year olds will need to buy a child ticket and 5 and under go free!
What does the ticket price include?
The ticket prices includes entry to the event, chef demos, music and lots more festival fun! Food and drink can be purchased from our line-up of pubs, restaurants and bars.
Is there camping?
There is no opportunity to camp at the festival unfortunately, if you are looking to make a weekend of it there are several lovely near-by hotels. We are pleased to be working with Event Express, who have negotiated preferential rates with local hotels
Am I allowed to bring my own food and drink into the festival?
Unfortunately not, and why would you want to?! We have such a fantastic array of gourmet, Michelin-starred food and tasty beverages to enjoy…put away that homemade ham sandwich and have a look at our Food & Drink page.
Am I allowed to bring my own chairs?
We do not allow visitors to bring their own chairs , this is to keep the festival as comfortable as possible for everyone. However, feel free to bring your own picnic blanket.
Is there disability access?
We are committed to making everyone’s experience an enjoyable one and ensure that our less abled visitors enjoy ease of access throughout the festival. Please do consider that whilst the event has an existing hardstanding path network, the festival is an outdoor event with grass fields and grounds with gradients/uneven surfaces. Whilst we have made a great effort to provide facilities to accommodate for this there will inevitably be some areas that are hard to navigate. There will be suitable toilet facilities available.
Are there carer tickets available?
All disabled visitors entering Pub In The Park on a paid for adult ticket are entitled to bring one carer free of charge. Please note if the disabled person is a child you will need to buy an adult ticket and claim a free child ticket as the carer. Once you have purchased your own ticket you will receive a confirmation email and within this email there will be a link which takes you to a Carers ticket application form. This will require that you send proof of disability, ie that you are in receipt of the middle or higher rate care component of the disability living allowance (DLA) or personal independence payment (PIP). Once agreed a free carer’s ticket will be added to your order and will be posted to you along with your other tickets. Your free carer’s ticket will be exactly the same type you have ordered for yourself.
Will there be cash points on site?
There will indeed. Although we do recommend bringing cash with you in advance.
Will there be car parking?
There is no parking available at Higginson Park so there will be some designated event parking in the surrounding areas. More details will be confirmed soon so check back for more information in the coming weeks.
Will the weather affect the event?
No, the show must go on! We’re British – a little bit of adverse weather won’t affect anything.
Can I sign up to your newsletter for updates and announcements?
Yes! Head to our homepage to sign up.
Smoking is allowed at the festival.
There is no access for under 16s in the VIP area.
Will I be allowed to leave and re-enter the festival?
Yes, your wristbands that you will be given when you arrive will allow you to do so.
Am I allowed to bring pets?
Only guide dogs are allowed at the festival.
What is the difference between the two all-day tickets?
The £80 (adult) all-day ticket includes an 1.5 hour river cruise during session changeover, the £65 (adult) all-day ticket gives you the chance to stay in the Rebellion Beer bar for the 1.5 hour session changeover.
If you have bought separate afternoon and evening tickets on one day, you will have to leave the festival during the session change.
